Joshua Tann Photography - Architectural Vision
I created this website to share my interests for Architecture and capturing it through my own vision. The linear edge of a monument, the curves of a colonnade, the intricate details of a Corinthian column or the ornate fresco; all represent centuries of wonderful world of architecture. Although I am a psychotherapist by profession, my interest and passion in architecture has remained since I was little. I did spend 2 years in Architectural school before fate took me somewhere else. I did not finish, obviously, but my interest in this field has never died. Most structures in this website are well-known to the public as they are historical monuments or landmark buildings. However, not all the angle and composition are the typical ones you find in numerous publications. As a psychotherapist, I create the vision of a building from its psychological space. For one, a structure is usually built for humanity. The purpose of a building is indeed to fulfill people's need for shelter and a sense of safety; and for a temple or cathedral, to fulfill humanity's need to worship its god or deity.
This website is currently a working progress. I hope you visit often.....
